The Phantom 4 Pro+ is an intelligent camera drone from DJI which offers a 3-axis-stabilized gimbal camera. The number of pixels held by this camera is 20 MP with a 1" CMOS sensor capability to shoot up to 4K/60fps video and also photo bursts at up to 14 fps. There has been an update in the hull from its last version, Phantom 4 which now features an alloy of magnesium that is constructed to increase the rigidity and reduce the weight. The system of flight autonomy adds a dual rear-vision sensor along with the sensing of infrared so that the obstacle sensing can be done for a total of five directions and avoidance for four directions. The primary feature of Phantom 4 Pro+ is high-luminance display that comes integrated into remote controller.
Gimbal Camera with 1-inch CMOS Sensor
The onboard camera accompanies a 1-inch 20-megapixel CMOS sensor for the Phantom model. It also has a custom-engineered lens which is made of 8 components that are arranged in 7 groups. 1-inch CMOS Sensor

The video processing system is enhanced which allows the capturing of video in cinema- and production- optimized DCI 4K (4096 x 2160) at 60 fps with a bitrate of 100 Mbps. The H.265 video codec at 30 fps in 4K resolution is also supported by Phantom 4 Pro+. for any particular or given bitrate, H.265 has the capability to double the amount of processing for image as compared to H.264 which resulted significantly in enhancing the image quality from a more effective and efficient compression. One should do the recording in high dynamic range D-log mode so as to make the most of this data of image for color grading.
Lens with high resolution-
The camera of Phantom 4 Pro+ has an aerial-optimized that has a wide-angle lens of f/2.8 with a 24 mm equivalent focal length. The remote Controller of Phantom 4 comes with a 1080p Display controller that combines an improved system of Lightbridge HD video transmission adding a support of 5.8 GHz transmission. the capability to decide between 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz helps the pilots to pass through the interference and avoid all kind of image lag that are caused while flying in an area that comes with an extensive use of 2.4 GHz frequency. Lightbridge HD Video Link

Intelligent Flight Modes
Draw - Taking the help of Draw, you can simply draw a path on the screen and the Phantom 4 Pro+ will start moving in the same direction as drawn on the screen while its altitude will be locked. This will allow the pilot in focusing more on the control of the camera enabling him to take more complex shots. There are two types of Draw modes that can be utilized in various situations:
Standard: The camera faces in the flight direction when the aircraft is following the route at a constant speed.
Free: As per the instruction, the aircraft will only move along the route and in this mode, the camera can see in any direction during the course of flight.
The advanced and image-recognition algorithms that are used by Phantom 4 Pro+ helps it in recognizing the object and track back them while still staying in the frame, although, following the objects that move fast can be very challenging. The range of subjects are recognized with the help of this algorithm differing from vehicles to people to animals and will alter the dynamics of its flight to ensure and match smoother shots. The pilots are allowed to choose between:
Trace: Follow behind or in front of a subject, avoiding obstacles automatically.
Profile: Fly alongside a subject at a variety of angles for clicking profile pictures of that subject.
Spotlight: It helps to keep its camera focused on the subject while this aircraft flies to any place and to any direction.
Fly in any direction visible
on-screen with a simple tap. As you just have to tap on the screen anywhere to
conveniently setup a flight direction while avoiding obstacles and tap the
screen again or use control sticks to change direction. The route function in
AR explains the real-time flight directions of the aircraft for reference as the
adjusted route. By using joysticks, you may face difficulty in controlling
speed, altitude, camera pitch and course at a time. So, it enables the pilot to
adjust the flight direction, enabling them to turn the Phantom 4 Pro+ or tilt
the gimbal as needed even without making any change in flight direction.
Overall, there are three Tap Fly modes for now.
Tap Fly Forward: Tap in order to fly in the chosen direction
Tap Fly Backward: Tap so as to fly in the direction opposite to the tap, i.e. tap in the screen’s bottom right corner to fly backward and towards the top left.
Tap Fly Free: Lock the foremost direction of the Phantom without bolting the direction of the camera and allowing it to turn as it flies.
Note: the avoidance of obstacle is not available with Tap Fly Free.

Depending on the external environmental condition, the Phantom 4Pro+ selects the best suited path back to home. During the entire course of flight, its records the whole route which then allows it to get back along the same path by avoiding the obstacles even if the control to the signal is disconnected.
On the basis of the altitude the time of disconnection, the Phantom 4 Pro can also alter the path of the flight so as to neglect the obstacles that are seen during or at the time of its flight. At the time of takeoff, the Phantom 4 Pro+ will read the scene hereinafter and compare it with what will be seen at the time of returning as to achieve more precise landing. Also, it also detects the ground to check if it is a suitable spot for landing or not. In case if there are any obstacles to be found or the ground is full of water then it will alert the pilot and will further hover at a suitable height, thus, helping in the safe landing.
With the help of the Gesture Mode, the selfies can be captured with the help of a few gestures and that too without the help of a remote controller. The vision technology of computer allows the Phantom 4 Pro+ to understand via gestures. When the subject raises its arm while facing the camera, the aircraft will notice this movement by securing on and putting the subject in the center's frame.
