DESCRIPTION:

The AD200 is a 200W cordless Lithium-ion powered TTL and HSS enabled strobe with an in-built Godox 2.4GHz X-system radio receiver inside (currently for Canon, Nikon, and Sony).

Being dedicated off camera flashes they feature no hotshoe and are a slimline monoblock unit. The AD200 provide a similar compact size of a speedlite though with some added power.

While also featuring an interchangeable flash head which provides the option of either bare bulb or traditional speedlite fresnel head.

The AD200 can be mounted via a 1/4″ threaded mounting hole on either side of the flash allowing landscape or portrait orientation when using the speedlite head.

Optical and 2.4G wireless transmission are offered to ensure stable triggering when using the Godox 2.4G wireless X triggering system. The Godox AD200 is compatible with Canon E-TTL, Nikon i-TTL and Sony TTL.

From the back of the light, you can control the Godox AD200’s modes   ( TTL/multi/regular ), HSS, LED, 5 groups, 32 channels, power, and access the custom functions. However, the beauty of this system is that you should rarely have to touch anything on the flash itself, aside from turning it on. The AD200 can be fired and controlled by the X1 controller, ( Sold Seperatelly ) all 4 X-series speedlights, as well as the AD360II. All of these units will tell the AD200 to enter HSS automatically when you exceed the flash sync speed on your camera.
